About the club
A century of flying from a small Illinois field.
Monmouth Airport (C66) was established in 1921. More than a hundred years later, we are proud to still call it home to the Monmouth Flying Club — flying out of C66 since 1966.
We're a community-service organization dedicated to affordable flight training and promoting General Aviation. Membership is open to pilots and students in our eligible counties: Warren, Henderson, Knox, Mercer, and Henry. If you're outside this area, we can help point you toward a club closer to home.
Flight training
Real training, real airplanes, real weather.
Our club exists to make flying reachable. Members share the aircraft, hangar, and maintenance so every hour you log is on a well-cared-for airplane at a friendly country field.
- Private Pilot training from first lesson to checkride
- Working with local CFIs who know C66 and its neighborhood
- Open to residents of Warren, Henderson, Knox, Mercer, and Henry counties
